The unforgettable faces at The Yellow River(1)

The Yellow River is the mother river of Chinese. It is the second longest river in China.

The Yellow River is called "the cradle of Chinese civilization". The Yellow River basin has an east-west extent of 1900 km (1,180 mi) and a north-south extent of 1100 km (684 mi). Its total basin area is 742,443 km² (290,520 mi²).

Recently, I drove my car to a small village nearby the Yellow River. It costs me 8 days to get there. I start off at Beijing. So it is quite a long journey.

The small village I visited is called Lijiashan. People of that village really impressed me.

Usually, I featured on nature view. It is quiet raw that I take human images. However, during my trip of the Yellow River, the nice people from Lijiashan village really touched me.

Goodbye, Sunset

In the book called The Little Prince, the writer said: “You know — one loves the sunset, when one is so sad…”

I don’t know when I started to love the sunset. Maybe it is because I have been through many things. But I’m not being sad to see the sunset. Instead, the sunset makes me feel peace.

In the sky, an orange sun is slowing down to the west side. White clouds gradually become colorful. How spectacular it is!

I am fond of thinking while watching the sunset. Bathing in the warm sun light of the dawn is wonderful. Even I was alone. I never feel lonely during that time.

Life is a kind of pressure. We should learn to prop up ourselves. Braver are those who have hurt cuz they know nothing would be more painful than ever.

Me and my turtles

It seems that my life is companied with turtles.

My first turtle came to me when I was in elementary school. One day after my dad was off the work, he secretly took a gift from his bag.

It is a little and cute turtle! It was not some rare specie. So my first turtle is very cheap. However, it gave me tremendous joy during my whole childhood.

When my first turtle died of illness, I realized the pain of leaving at the first time.

A few years ago, I bought several India turtles. The tattoo of them is very beautiful . it looks like stars. They are the turtles I mention before in my early post.

These turtles are not easy to keep. They have a lot of requirements to the food, temperature and sunlight.

The Turtles in My House

There are several cute turtles in my house. They have grown up as middle size one. I still remember what they looked when I first saw them. At that time, these turtles were just little eggs.

Everyday, I kindly treat them and take care of them. If you want to keep a turtle as your pet, I can share some experiences with you.

I keep the temperature of turtle box being stable at 30 all the year. I feed them with turtle food and vegetables.

What’s more, the food for turtles should also require calcium powder. Turtles also need sun bath. Therefore, I bought a sun lamp.

Every night after I give each turtle a shower, I turn the sun lamp on to let them have a sun bath.

Life is a team sport

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
—Michael Jordan

Whoa, hold on. Did I read correctly? Did Michael Jordan, one of the best individual athletes of all time, really say that! And he is not the only successful person to depent on a team.

For example, no matter how smart Steve Jobs was, he couldn’t have made Apple without the help of a large team of other smart and cooperative people.

“That’s great,” you might say, “but some things in life must be done alone. How can teamwork help me there?” That’s an excellent question, and the answer might surprise you. Even when you’re working alone, your mind, heart, body, and spirit must work together... just like a team!

So when you are working on a team, you really have two teams: the team inside of you, and the other people you work with.

Convinced yet? Ready to use teamwork to bring your life to the next level? Then take the advantage of Michael Jordan’s and Steve Jobs’ secret of success: life is team sport, you can’t do it alone!

A spring travel of a small village in China

If you want to have a trip in china and don’t want to be the crowed places, then I strongly recommended you a place named Wuyuan. Last week me and my friends had a trip in Wuyuan. Wuyuan is one of the most beautiful villages in China. It is in Jiangxi province, Jingde town.

When I arrived at my destination, it was 6 a.m. So I ate my breakfast at a local restaurant. The meal was pretty good.

This is the early morning of Wuyuan.

The tickets of Wuyuan view spots cost me 180 RMB. Here are the tickets.

Then I start my trip. There are endless golden flowers. Rape flowers were yellowing the fields. The historical buildings are amazing.

I really enjoy my trip.

Old film, New feeling

The day before Yesterday, I went to the cinema to review the film of Titanic. It is the 3D version. But the 3D Titanic really disappointed me. It is really sucks.

But the classic is still classic. It is a sad story of a disaster. Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage. I was cried over and over because of the touching scenes from the move.

Especially at the end of the film, Rose had no choice by but to let her died love, Jack, sank into the ocean.

I was deeply touched by that bridge. Sometimes we can do nothing but see the one we deeply loved leaving us. Fight to be together is brave. Letting your love go needs more courage. The first time I saw Titanic, I was a primary student. I didn’t understand what love is. 15 years latter, I am a girl who is loved by some one and once loved someone. Now I understand this film better.
